Havelock Island


Havelock is one of only a handful few places that the organization of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands union region of India has allowed and energized the advancement of tourism


Viper Island


Viper Island derives its name from the vessel H.M.S. serpent within which Lt. Archibald Blair came to Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 1789. The vessel, it’s believed, met with an associate accident and its portion was found close to the island


Ross Island


After Archibald Blair’s review of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 1788, a settlement was set up at present-day Port Blair (then called Port Cornwallis). In 1792 it was moved to northern harbor (introduce day Diglipur) which was likewise Christened Port Cornwallis

In 1789 the legislature of Bengal built up a corrective settlement on Chatham Island in the southeast inlet of Great Andaman
